This print was submitted to the “Chicago’s Tomorrow, Today” art show. The focus of the show was to speculate on what the future of Chicago can look like. Only 3 prints were produced and this is the last print of the original series.
The future success of cities are tied to sustainability goals. Chicago is ambitious: to be the U.S.’s most sustainable city. A sustainable Chicago will provide economic development, job creation, clean and efficiency energy, transportation options, improved water quality, parks, open space and healthy neighborhoods. As we move forward as a city, we must live up to our 1837 motto: "City in a Garden.”
